The principals of MSys have held senior management positions in industry leading technology companies like LSI Logic, American Megatrends, iVivity, Scentric, Cray Supercomputers.

Mr. Sehgal has over 18 years of executive management and entrepreneurial experience in enterprise software, system sales, marketing and operations. Mr. Sehgal founded or co-founded several companies, AMI, (sold to LSI Logic for over $220M), iVivity (sold to Emulex), and Scentric (sold to Brocade), all category-leading companies in their respective markets. He has led business critical efforts in every environment, including building successful engineering, sales and marketing organizations, raising venture and strategic funding, product development and launch, establishing and managing partner relationships, and overseeing company acquisitions. He has been involved in building and operating off-shore development centers for AMI, LSI Logic, iVivity and Scentric. He holds a BE in Electronics from University of Delhi.

He brings in over 17 years of Engineering and Product Development expertise in consumer and enterprise storage. He has hands on experience in firmware and software development to bring up storage controller chips to market and experienced in interfacing multiple engineering and non-engineering teams to manage simultaneous projects in accordance to PLC (Product Life Cycle Management) processes. He has filed and acquired a key patent for auto-run feature using CD emulation of flash/disk drives. At MSys, he is responsible for building and managing entire ODC team (Offshore Deveopment Center) for a premier storage leader based in the bay area. The team consists of firmware, EVT (Engineering Validation Test), SQA (Software Quality Test), FAE (Field Application Engineering) and Technical Support. Prior to MSys, he built and managed large size offshore development teams for OnSpec group of companies, involving ATA and USB based NAND flash controller products. Later, he was also part of Micron Technology's Product Management group. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Master's degree in Business Administration.

He brings in over 11 years of technical and engineering management expertise in SAN, LAN, Internet Security and Middleware technologies. At MSys, he is responsible for building and managing Msys Intellectual Property in the domain of Storage Technology, Infrastructure Management and Test Automation. He is also responsible for building and managing the engineering team of experienced and talented domain experts in enterprise networking software and device driver/embedded technologies. He is an expert in fibre channel protocol, snmp protocol, TR-069 protocol standards and test automation. Prior to MSys, he built and managed large size offshore development teams for several multi-billion dollar corporations like Brocade. He holds a B.Tech in Instrumentation Technology from Madras Institute Of Technology, Anna University.

He brings in 14 years of financial expertise being a Chartered accountant (equivalent to CPA) as well as Cost & Works Accountant (ICWA). He has worked in companies like American Express & Oracle in their Accounting & Finance department. He has deep expertise in large business applications like Oracle financials & SAP. He has worked in outsourcing industry & involved in transition of accounting processes from other parts of the world (high cost countries) to India (low cost). He has worked on US GAAP accounting & also statutory accounts for some countries in Asia pacific region.
